Expect more than just footy at the 2021 Perth National Carnival

An action-packed week lies ahead for participants of the 2021 Sealink AFL Masters National Carnival in Perth, Western Australia.

Mr Nathan Dixon, Chairman of the Perth Organizing Committee, said the 2021 Perth National Carnival is the most anticipated carnival in the history of the event, and all aspirations are for 2021 to be “the biggest and best National Carnival ever, with unique attractions offered by WA Tourism”.

Based out of Langley Park in the heart of the Perth city center, carnival participants can look forward the “Carnival Village”, where they can enjoy:
- Food: On every game day and for the AFL Grand Final function, enjoy a range of healthy food options, from hamburgers and sushi, to paella and pizza.
- Bars: Pop up bars will operate between grounds 2 and 3, and 3 and 4, with a marquee bar also operating in the village center.
- Entertainment: On game day afternoons, the marquee area will come alive with live music for patrons to enjoy while watching the footy.
- Merchandise: Grab some 2021 Carnival merch from the Merch Tent within the carnival village.

Langley Park is only a short walk from local accommodation and hospitality, and will be reconfigured to feature four full size ovals, with games also being played on the Optus Stadium rear oval. The main stadium at Optus Stadium will host the March On/Opening Ceremony on Sunday, September 26.

The itinerary for the week also includes:
- A golf day at the Whaleback Golf Course, 25 kilometres from the Perth CBD.
- High Tea on the Swan River, supporting the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF)
- Race Night at Gloucester Park, including the running of the AFL MASTERS CUP, and the traditional AFL Masters sprint and longest kick competitions.
- An Over 65s Exhibition Game on World Heart Day, Wednesday 29th September.
- Presentation night at Optus Stadium, featuring Perth band PeaceLove.
