AFL Masters National Carnival | DAILY BULLETIN | Monday 2/10

Beach recovery sessions, road trips around the Sunshine Coast, and a huge number of carnival players and their families attending Get Wet Monday at the Bli Bli Water Sports Complex, today has been a fantastic day to enjoy the local weather and surrounds.

A little later many of you will be attending the Hall of Fame evening, to see who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and elevated to Legend status! If you are not attending, stay tuned on TeamAPP and social media as the announcements will be coming at you in real time.

1. AFL Masters Golf Classic
This event is an absolute classic (pardon the pun!) and this year the majestic Twin Waters Golf Club is the venue for the 2023 AFL Masters Golf Classic.

10.30am
Registration desk is open.
Collect drink tickets at this stage.
Scorecards will be in your carts.
10.35am
Brekkie rolls served.
10.45am
Warm up on range open.
11.40am
General player briefing by Craig Goodall, the Corporate Golf Co-ordinator at Twin Waters.
The briefing will include the rules of the day (copy attached), carts/GPS and scorecards.
Note: do not use the scoreboard function on cart.
11.45am
Head off in your carts to your respective holes.
12.00pm
Shotgun start!
4.30pm
Expected finish of your 18 holes. Hand in your team’s scorecard.
4.31pm
19th hole will be open to redeem the rest of your drink tickets & your “BBQ High Tea” will commence.
5.15pm
Presentations – winning team, nearest to the pin x 3, longest drive.

2. AFL Masters High Tea
Where? Rooftop 55 Plaza Parade, Kon Tiki Building, Maroochydore QLD 4558, Australia
When? Tue 3 Oct 2:00pm – 5:00pm
A fun filled afternoon of entertainment and delicious treats have been planned for our High Tea attendees. The Fashions of the Field will return once again. Will Adrina from NSW produce the Sherrin Fascinator for a third year running?

NOTE: This is a ticketed event, so you must have already have a ticket to attend.

3. Merchandise – online shop
The Sunshine Coast Organising Committee have had an overwhelmingly positive response for merchandise this year, unfortunately this means many items have sold out!
