AFL Masters National Carnival | DAILY BULLETIN | Tuesday 3/10

The AFL Masters Golf Classic and High Tea are always highly popular events. There were some famous ex AFL players golfing at Twin Waters, and after an interesting start, the ladies who attended the High Tea had a fantastic time!

Now we prepare for another amazing round of footy at the Maroochydore Muti Sports Complex tomorrow. See below for some important updates.

1. Round 2 Reminders
We are all looking forward to another sensational day at the Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex, so here are a few reminders to ensure the day runs smoothly for everyone.

Timekeepers
EVERY team must supply a timekeeper for EVERY game – the timekeepers oversee the scoreboard, timing and siren for their oval, and should report to the designated area at least 10 minutes prior to the game commencing. Due to the amount of games and ensuring we stay on track, it is important that all teams are on top of this.

Allocated licensed areas
A reminder to all carnival attendees to ensure you drink within the allocated area near each oval. Please be responsible to ensure that everyone attending can continue to enjoy their carnival experience. Note: You cannot bring your own alcohol into the venue.

Drink tickets
Drink tickets can be purchased from the SCOC office – this will assist with reducing line up times.

Hydration
Important reminder to ensure that you remain hydrated (with water!) on game days. The heat and humidity can quickly catch up on you and we had some incidents of dehydration/heat stroke on Sunday.

On Site Trainers
On site carnival trainers have been arranged by the Sunshine Coast Organising Committee (SCOC), who are there as the first point of contact for all injury assessment/triage on game days. Team trainers are of course of assistance to inform of player history etc.
