Women and girls in all States and Territories across Australia will find it easier and more enjoyable to play sport and be active as a result of a $981,233 grant to AFL National Masters. AFL National Masters has been selected to receive funding under the Australian Government’s $200 million Play Our Way Program, which is designed to remove barriers, address discrimination and promote equality for women and girls to participate in sport and physical activity. AFL National Masters will use the money to support the AFL Masters QuickKick Program, which enables middle-aged and older women (35 and over) to safely and confidently participate in Australian Football. QuickKick focuses on the fun, social, and health benefits of sport, making it accessible, inclusive, and affordable.
